Cut my soul

How did you 

End up so cold?

You once were my sun 

Now you’re the snow

Freezing me slowly 

Looking so lovely 

Making me miss my home

Where it’s warm

But I always return 

To your icy storm 

Until it consumes me

And I burn

Frostbite, Icicles on my chin

From crying over you

Again and again 

When will I learn my lesson

That your love 

Isn’t somewhere I can rest

Winter wonderland

Only lasts a season 

Why do I always forget?
